Building Just Communities

As UUs, we live out our beliefs through our beliefs in social justice and service toward others. When we come together, OCUUC builds its communities through its Faith in Action Council.

We build just communities and work toward justice through the following organized committees:
• AIDS Team Ministry
• Circulo de Amigas
• Community Service with other organizations in Orange County
• Green Sanctuary
• Interfaith
• Collaborative work with Sharing Our Selves
• Advocacy through the Unitarian Universalist Legislative Ministry of California
• Learning about worldwide causes through the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee

Standing on the Side of Love is a public advocacy campaign, sponsored by the Unitarian Universalist Association, promoting respect for the inherent worth and dignity of every person. Standing on the Side of Love will confront exclusion, oppression and violence based on identity. It is through love that OCUUC works toward justice, whether it is about identity groups, class, education, health care, or just about any social issue. Join us by clicking on the heart.
