De Benneville Pines |

Registration is now open for Camp de Benneville Pines Church Weekend Oct 15-17, 2010
Camp de Benneville Pines is located in the Barton Flats area of the San Bernardino National Forest, about 90 miles east of Los Angeles. At an elevation of 6,800 feet and a short walk from Jenks Lake, the camp is surrounded by a forest of towering pines, cedars, and oaks.
Registration is now open (with an early bird discount) for this amazing weekend in our beautiful UU Camp in the San Bernardino Mountains. We will again share the camp with our neighboring UU congregation, Tapestry, and with the Laughter Yoga group. We will have a rich and meaningful array of activities to fulfill and delight you. Just ask anyone who was there last year! There will be activities for all ages from kids to seniors – or you can just sit back and take in the beauty of your surroundings, if you prefer. Camp activities are in the planning stage but will include things like hiking, archery, yoga, meditation, worship, spiritual workshops, singing, a treasure hunt, board games, and art workshops. Follow this link to see our schedule of activities from last year’s camp. Janet James manages the facility, which is very comfortable, and the food is terrific. Camp is open to members and friends, singles and families, and all are encouraged to participate. We are now developing the schedule for 2010 camp; it’s not too late to join the committee that is designing this weekend.
Last year, the weather was perfect and we had a wonderful weekend sharing interactions and activities at camp. These events help bring us all closer together.
Follow this link for the Registration form. Please contact Karen Anderson to sign up for the camp or to volunteer for the Camp Committee.
